AFPS is the brainchild of founder and CEO Michele Reis. With degrees in Business Administration and Medical Technology, Michele’s professional life has been mainly devoted to operations and management of large, multi-county medical practices with hundreds of employees, as well as directing operations of a large, Florida licensed home health care agency with well over one hundred employees. She’s also supervised hospital laboratories and worked in family owned businesses.
It’s through these experiences that Michele identified a clear need to easily match top talent with top employers. She’s followed economic trends over the past years, clearly indicating that the demand for qualified employees is skyrocketing as the economy has improved, while stressed employers work short-handed trying to fill vacant positions with qualified candidates.
Michele’s solution was to create AFPS, an on-line destination for quality employers and qualified job candidates to connect with one another. All AFPS job candidates are pre-screened with background and reference checks already completed, eliminating those time consuming tasks from the employer. From the job candidate perspective, they are connecting directly with businesses with an immediate need, instead of submitting applications and resumes to dead-end email locations, never to be contacted.
